I just got off the phone with Vupoint. I tried to install the driver from their own site. I tried to unzip the file when it told me it belongs to a macosx. Not windows vista. I told the lady that they need to fix their download site. I picked it for windows vista. there wasnt a mac os option to pick from. They are sending me a new cd. Hopefully the new cd software has the correct driver loaded on it!!! She will mail it Friday since tomorrow is New Years Day. I will keep you posted if the new cd works.
Ok, its now Jan 10th 2009. I received the new cd from vupoint. That one doesnt work either. I told them that to make sure the driver that they load onto the new made up cd have the correct driver. Still wrong driver. I checked their site again for converter downloads. I downloaded the driver again. I then went to my downloads folder and checked the driver and it still says its for a macosx. Arcsoft should dump Vupoint for bundling this with their software. Back to Bed Bath and Beyond for this.
