Does the Palliative Care assessment have all the same outcome measures and CAPs as the Home Care assessment? The Palliative Care assessment has just eight outcome scales. It does not calculate the MAPLe or any of the IADL scales. It has seven Palliative Care specific CAPs, with its own CAPs manual and assessment coding manual. The interRAI Community Health Assessment (CHA), and its Deafblind Supplement (DbS) is the only standardized interview instrument for adults (18 years of age or older) that helps first-line health. Use of our instruments is permitted only by written license with interRAI™; the purchase of a User's manual does not provide a use license. Publication of interRAI instruments supplements existing software that incorporates these instruments, available from our licensed vendors.Additionally, interRAI publications are available in both print and ebook formats; we encourage the use of interRAI.
