Apparently many months ago a friend bought one but apart from unpacking it and losing the manual etc which is par for the course, it has never been used or connected to the Internet.
The only reason it has now surfaced is because his desk top has 'crashed' and his Son is 'Too Busy' to fix whatever is wrong with it so he thought he could use the Tablet.
This sounds good in theory except he hasnt a clue what the encryption code is for the WiFi router as his son set it all up to begin with and knowing that his father would just put down and promptly loose any details, only he knows what it is.
I found a series of User Manuals online but not his specific number but would I be wrong in guessing so long as its 'close', it will do?
His is a PNDPP41DG7BLK^ 4G and the nearest I found is a PNDPP428DG7BLK, in case it escapes you, the BLK is the colour of the case, geeeez.....
The main problem I have is when its turned on, on the bottom left of the screen reads a box saying 'Safe Mode' !!

I only had a brief play with it this afternoon and it unlocks OK, the screen responds when an APP is touched like the calculator etc.
I reset the clock as it was a bit slow, you can scroll through all the settings and see whats where and view a picture he took of himself so I have no idea why the 'Safe Mode' box is showing, could it be because its never been online and its looking for any updates of which there must be a few since he bought it.
I have only just downloaded the manual which I have had a quick look through and saw there is a 'Reset' but I cant try it as I dont have the Pad here and I dont trust him to try it.
Any help with this devise would be appreciated.
